Cosmoproject and Primo Tortini

Founded in 1993 by the entrepreneur Primo Tortini, Cosmoproject is a production reference player for the most important brands in the luxury cosmetics sector. The top-level equipment is combined with a global attention to quality, for a full-service offer that starts from the formulation, is based on the production and goes up to the labeling.

Cosmoproject was born in an area with an exquisite cosmetic and perfumery vocation: Parma. Since the nineteenth century, from the famous "Violetta di Parma" so loved by Maria Luigia, duchess of the city and wife of Napoleon, the history of perfume is intertwined with this geographical area, now globally recognized for an expertise that spans all departments engaged in the creation and marketing of perfumes, skin care and beauty products.

Cosmoproject's activity

Cosmoproject's business is focused on functional skincare and haircare, make-up, bubble baths and detergents, with a production capacity of over 50 million pieces per year. The company is also equipped with an internal Research & Development Laboratory where innovative formulas are developed in the field of skincare and make-up: each project is subjected to rigorous tests that evaluate not only its functionality but also its sensory pleasure in the Laboratory of Applied Cosmetics.

Cosmoproject also boasts a dedicated Raw Materials Department: each ingredient is carefully evaluated on its chemical-physical, organoleptic and microbiological parameters, in order to ensure that each product is qualitatively optimal to best express the strength and peculiarities of each individual component.

Cosmoproject training

A center dedicated to training completes the cycle from production to the experience of every end customer: the Beauty Specialists create special training courses on the products and their active ingredients, up to the methods and gestures of application. The Training and Educational Center is the hub for the sharing of knowledge: the company assets are transmitted and translated into communal know-how, at the service of the customer.
